The aim of the study is to investigate the moderating effect of work values on the relationship between perceived job insecurity and job uncertainty with intention to work in public sector.The research model is tested with 145 participants from different sectors through questionnaire method. The research model consists of four variables: Perceived job insecurity perceived job uncertainty intention to work in public sector and work values.In this study it is investigated whether perceived job insecurity and job uncertainty are associated with the intention to work in public sector. The effect of work values on this relationship is also examined. As a result of the research it is observed that perceived job insecurity and perceived job uncertainty have significant positive contributions on the intention to work in public sector. Besides participants with work values about job security have been found to display higher intention to work in public sector when they experienced job insecurity.
